I first bought your book some years ago. I must have read it hundreds of times. And
I agree with all your writings. In fact I set out to do exactly what you laid out.
After researching a few firms I set my hopes on a single firm and using your
techniques I was able to find the hiring manager and get an interview (on the phone!). The firm is in Tokyo (I live in
Nagoya, Japan by the way) and using your techniques I was asked to come for a second interview. We talked
only about the work and never once did those pesky HR questions show their face! I think I will probably get the job. I will
keep you informed.
