Nick,
I can't thank you enough for the information and advice you provide on asktheheadhunter.com.
After selling out my interest in a small business, I wanted to find a position with
a large company in the same industry. I began by making every mistake you warn about. The want ads, internet job sites and
job listings. I even ignored all the great relationships and industry contacts I had built over the years, reasoning that
calling on them would be "begging" for a job. After 6 weeks of spinning my wheels, your site turned up in a Web
search as I was attempting to find still more useless job listings.
After spending many hours devouring the information on your site, I sat down and
made a list of the 15 best companies in my industry. I then made a second list of all my industry contacts. All it took was
5 days of phone calls.
The following week I had 7 interviews scheduled. I took
control of the interviews and used them to showcase my skills while pointing out how I could make money for the company.
The week after, I had three job offers including two excellent ones. I accepted one without
burning the bridge to the other. For the past three weeks I have been employed at an executive level position with
a fantastic company. I can't wait to get to work in the morning.
This fantastic success has turned me into the ultimate apostle for asktheheadhunter.com,
spreading the message about America's broken employment system and the solutions to be found on
your site. Don't ever stop. Your information can do more good for more ordinary people than anything else I can think of.
I hope you sell more books than J.K. Rowling!
Thank You, Nick!!
