I just finished reading the Ask the Headhunter book by Nick, and
have a few comments:

I have been doing a lot of these suggestions for many years, and they work!

The most obvious one is let them know you want the job! I cannot
believe how many people leave an interview without telling the prospective employer they really want this job. It works!

In the past, when asked that stupid "Where do you want to be..."
question, I have replied, "Before I answer that, can you tell me exactly how that determines how I can do this
job now?" Stumps them every time, and I don't have to answer the question.
Thanks, Nick, for this excellent book -- I was starting to read the
classifieds again and it is addictive and drains you of your power and confidence.
I also, through the help of this
book, identified my strengths and skills and interests -- as a student (after 25 years in another field) was unsure how
my skills would translate, but now I know, and have so much confidence.
I am in control! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
