No more humiliation in the interview.
Date: 2/8/00

Your book certainly steered me in the right direction in obtaining my true "dream job".  After being laid off 3 months ago, I had to begin my first serious job search in 15 years. I initially found the entire interview process humiliating.  However, once I found your book in my frustrated search for better answers, the entire tone of my interviews changed.  I believe by developing a list of strategies to address my current employer's challenges, I not only convinced them I understood the market, but that I could effectively and profitably do the job.

While utilizing the "Ask the Headhunter" process during interviews, I did observe something very interesting. I had to very carefully take control of the interview when I was being interviewed by a man in order that he would not feel as if he had lost control of the interview. What I found was extremely beneficial was to ask him when it might be appropriate for me to present my ideas to him. Some men I interviewed with were not initially anxious for me to control the interview.

I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to write your book and assisting us who are trying to sell ourselves to employers that need our skills.

Forever Grateful,

Kim
