| The manager was taken aback by the Working Resume. |
|
November 11, 2003
I wrote the Working Resume™ and handed it in.
I got the job, and am now closing my second month. Some truth in advertising: I later also handed in a convential resume.
Yet I know for a fact that the manager was taken aback, and the Working Resume was the "conversation piece" for
the interview.
Since I had been networking for over a year, I already knew everyone in the office
save the secretaries. Cannot argue with the results! I am now running a regional technology-based economic development
initiative. My manager used to lead a major pharmaceutical company's global logistics and entertains himself making the game
bigger for me.
So thank you, Nick.
Sincerely,
Marcos Polanco
