Having profited so much from the advice on the Ask The Headhunter message board, I just wanted to report that I received two job offers out of three companies I approached, and my new job will start on June 1. Not bad for somebody my age: 39 ;-).

I attribute my success to a large degree to The Headhunter's book and to the ATH message board. After my second (and offer-winning) interview, the hiring manager summed up why they wanted to have me on board: "As you are able to make such a presentation in a job interview...".

The key, I think, was that I didn't go into the interview as a passive "cow", but as somebody who was willing to show in a concrete way how he would do the job. I wouldn't have come up with that on my own, without your book and the message board. That is why I thank you, Masked Man.
