7. What did you pull off?
During an interview, typical statements about one's "accomplishments" rank right up there with the Top Ten Stupid Interview Questions. A real accomplishment is something a soldier did during a war while the enemy was shooting at him.If the employer is a worthy one what he really wants to know is, What have you pulled off? He doesn't want to hear that you performed the tasks you were paid to do. He doesn't want to hear how you earned ten brownie points. What he's asking is, How did you make something happen that wasn't supposed to happen? Why are you still alive today?
